We collect the minimum data required to operate UX4X and respond to service requests:

4. Retention & deletion

Project and account data is retained for the life of our engagement plus 36 months, unless law requires longer. Analytics events are kept for 14 months max. Email us to request deletion; we remove or anonymise records unless retention is legally required.

5. Sharing with trusted partners

We only share data with vendors that meet our security screening and sign data processing agreements:

  • Supabase – content storage and API services in EU data centres.
  • Cloudflare – global CDN, Workers, and caching for performance and DDoS protection.
  • Analytics & experience – Google, Microsoft, Hotjar, Mixpanel (enabled per consent category).
  • Payment & accounting – invoicing platforms required for billing, if engaged.

6. International transfers

UX4X operates remotely with infrastructure in the EU and USA. Transfers outside your jurisdiction rely on EU Standard Contractual Clauses or UK Addenda, plus technical safeguards (TLS, encryption at rest, least privilege). We continuously monitor vendor compliance.

7. Security controls

  • Role-based access, MFA, and endpoint management for all team accounts.
  • Encrypted traffic (TLS 1.2+), hashing of stored secrets, and regular dependency audits.
  • Cache-layer rate limiting, bot mitigation, and anomaly monitoring on Cloudflare.
  • Quarterly security header checks and penetration testing of high-risk flows.

8. Your privacy rights

You can exercise these rights at any time:

  • Access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you.
  • Restrict or object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Withdraw consent for analytics, marketing, or research participation.
  • Request data portability in a machine-readable format.
  • Complain to your local supervisory authority (e.g., DIFC Commissioner or EU DPA).
